Data controller

Within the meaning of the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), the controller responsible for personal data collected through this site is:

Data processed and source

This notably includes data you enter in forms: identity (e.g. first and last name), contact details (email address, phone number), company if you provide it, and information about your request (service, description of needs).

If you attach photos, they may contain personal data (people, number plates, visible addresses). Only send what is useful for the request.

Technical data (such as IP address, timestamp, browser type) may be generated automatically by the hosting environment or content delivery network (technical logs). Such processing is generally linked to secure operation of the service and incident resolution.

Purposes, legal bases and retention

Data is processed to: respond to your request or message; prepare or follow up a commercial quote or offer; manage any ongoing business relationship; and ensure proper functioning and security of the site. Legal bases include in particular pre-contractual measures or performance of a contract at your request, legitimate interests for security and reasonable administration of the site, and, where applicable, compliance with legal obligations.

Data is kept for as long as necessary for these purposes, and thereafter within any limits set by applicable obligations (including accounting, tax or record-keeping rules where commercial documents are retained).

Cookies and similar technologies

The site is intended to remain lean: non-essential cookies or trackers are avoided where possible. Strictly necessary cookies or technical mechanisms for operation or security may be used. If analytics tools, third-party embeds or other tracker-based services are added later, this policy will be updated and, where required by law, a choice will be offered before any non-essential placement.

Recipients, processors and transfers

Data is processed by authorised staff at SENLINK SERVICES. Technical processors: Vercel Inc. (site hosting, United States) and Resend (form-related email delivery, United States), acting on instructions and in compliance with the FADP.

These processors may involve a transfer to the United States. Appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses or an applicable adequacy framework) apply to these transfers.

Visitors in the European Union

If you are in the EU or EEA, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) may also apply. You may exercise your rights with SENLINK SERVICES and, where applicable, lodge a complaint with your national authority (for example the CNIL in France).

Security

Reasonable technical and organisational measures are applied to protect data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) for the site. No internet transmission is entirely risk-free, however.

Your rights, complaints and changes to this policy

Subject to legal conditions, you may exercise rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability where applicable, and objection as provided by the FADP. You may lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) if you consider that processing infringes the law.

This policy may be amended to reflect changes to the site, processors or the law; the business may add a “last updated” date here after internal approval. For questions about your data or exercising your rights, contact the publisher at the details given under “Data controller”.
